For the last two years I have done all my Christmas shopping online at Remo. So very convenient, and the source of so many cool gifts and everyday items. I get all my coffee and soap at REMO and have squeezed my kids into matching stripey things. Every lucky child that turns one in our circle gets a buzzy bee, and my little boy makes helicopters out of Zoob. I dry myself off after a swim with a waffle weave towel, cuddle the biggest rubber duck in the world in my bath, and celebrate spring by slipping on a plain black or blue REMO t-shirt. I'm a true fan.

| Pedometers My husband and I now are the proud owners of a pedometer each. He has the pulse meter one and I have the older version. Both are fabulous. But I am envious of how much better looking his is. I didn't have any trouble getting mine set up and while he laboured away trying to get all the functions working, it wasn't long before we were comparing stride lengths. It is all go for us now and I feel inspired to get moving. However, if I get bored I figure I can attach it to the active 2 year old we have to get my numbers up!!

| Love my Pedometer! I have the Oregon Scientific Pedometer with the heart rate monitor. (It looks different to the one pictured here.) It took a while to work out how to use the pulse counter but I have that under control now. (Tip - don't press your finger against the button, just rest it there gently.) I like that it closes right up so you can't accidentally bump the buttons, and you can let people think it is a timepiece (which it is) if you don't want to admit to wearing a pedometer.
The only negative is that if I am wearing pants that sit low on my hips the pedometer doesn't seem to register the steps properly. Normally for exercise I am wearing daggy big high waisted track pants so it doesn't matter, but I guess it could be problem if I were a slender 18 year old who'd never had children and liked to wear my pants nice and low to show off my toned tummy and cutesy belly ring. But then I wouldn't need a pedometer.

| This makes me feel stupid This has been sitting on my shelf for a while as I can't quite get through the setup process. I just can't quite understand the instructions, so now I feel unfit and a bit stupid. Looks good though, and it promises to be very useful if I can ever work it out. I wonder if there is a helpline I can call ...
