Incredibly obscure but my father used to work for a company that sold Molybdenum (yes, the metal). Years ago I found one of your Periodic Table shirts in the airport but they didn't have the right size. Don't have any personal connections with Rhenium but nonetheless, was happy to find the t-shirt on your web site for my brother (who-of course- was impressed by how clever I am to find it). For myself I bought Balmain. Not quite as clever but relevant.

These neat cards are the creation of Melbourne graphic designer and long-time REMO evangelist Anna Gowers. Anna has practiced and lectured in Communication Design over the past 15 years (about as long as she's been a CustOMER), including 3 years as a "pracademic" working with the final year design students at Swinburne in Victoria.

Her obsession with all things design started as a child. Her mother was a fashion designer who brought back clever graphic design from her travels to Japan, Europe and the US in the early 80s, starting Anna on a lifelong journey of hoarding interesting cards, invitations, stationery, paper things and examples of the handwritten word.

Anna loves all kinds of design. She especially loves stationery. She also loves writing to her friends and family and anyone else. And everyone loves to receive things in the mail. So she decided to start a new business making products that she would like to use, and Words Matter was born.

These Christmas and Everyday postcard packs are a simple idea that seems to make people smile. Not as formal as a traditional greeting card, not as casual as an SMS or email, and they look great propped up on a shelf or stuck on the fridge. No envelope required, so less stuff to do. They can also be used as giant gift cards.

Each postcard is 210mm x 125mm, with nice rounded corners, a matt coating on the front and little black print on the back, leaving lots of space to write or draw. If you don't want to say much, just write big! Of course, we all love Melbourne, so you'll find the words “designed and printed in marvellous melbourne” there too.

They are quite a bit bigger (and better!) than your average postcard, but still within the size range for standard postage. The cards come in packs of 10 (2 of each of the 5 designs) in both Christmas and Everyday packs.
