No other photo booth was as much fun to cram into with five other friends. No other Belgian Fuss tasted quite as sweet, especially as I took my first tastings of coffee. No other shop made me feel quite so grown up at sixteen.
Ah...nostalgia.
Though lacking that tangible poring-over-the-merchandise on a lost afternoon quality, webRemo is just as good as ever. Lots of things to sigh and dream over, many more to try to justify needing in my life, but one big difference to those teen years - I can actually afford to buy some of them now!
There may be pluses and minuses to that...

| I love it! Sorry to those that don't get it but I got my dress today and I love it! I got the stone colour; tried it with long boots and a scarf and I (and my husband) think it looks great, although I prefer tying the top at the back rather than wrapping the ties around to the front. I do uni and attend a lot of meetings. I need and like to look somewhat presentable; I know and like what I like but am not really into fashion for the sake of it. On the days that I work from/at home I prefer to wear comfy clothing so having something that looks pretty good, is easy to iron and can be thrown on quickly to drive into town to catch the postoffice or supermarket is perfect for my lifestyle. A friend once shared her mum's wisdom; that upon waking you should wash your face and do your hair and then you're ready to be seen by the world. I'd amend that to include throwing on a long sleeve fitted tee and having the utility dress standing by. Thanks guys; expect a re-order. And I'll get a post a picture when I'm wearing it for real for those that want to see how it looks on the average person (sans Melanie's good looks and figure!)

| My search has ended! This is the dress I have been looking for. It's simple, versatile and easy to wear. It's not a fashion thing. It just is what it is. And yes, it does have a bit of an institutional feel.

| Definitive Design This is an awesome concept. As soon as my wife saw the video she insisted that I order a Utility Dress for her immediately. It was also made clear to me that further orders would most likely be required once the first delivery has proven itself.

| Cell Block H I, too, am puzzled. This is one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. I could see it being worn as prison issue in the kitchens or as punishment in a 19th century Bedlam. I really don't get it. Sorry.

| Puzzled I don't think a Remo offering has ever puzzled me as much as this one. Colour...fabric...design...it's all so...institutional. (Flashbacks to gym tunics and woodwork dust jackets from high school.) Of course, it's a utility dress; but this comes across as "utility" of the drab variety and not having much to do with the Remo spirit. The other thing that puzzles me here is that, when you look at it, it's just a glorified, double-sided apron. Now a substantial apron is a useful thing if you're into oil painting or woodwork or have some seriously grotty chores to do. But are you going to pay $110(!) for an apron?
