It's about time, REMO. I've missed you. My old tee shirts are threadbare. A pair of cotton footy shorts went to the ragbag last week (bring back the footy shorts!)

In a Periodic Table (Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev circa 1869), the elements are arranged in columns and rows according to increasing atomic number.

Rhenium is a very dense, high-melting, silver-white metal used in alloys with tungsten; delivering improved ductility and high-temperature strength for use in electrical contacts, electronic filaments, thermocouples and photographic flash lamps.

Molybdenum is a hard, malleable, ductile, high-melting, silver-white metal with a body-centered cubic crystalline structure. Because it retains its strength and structure at very high temperatures, it has found use in certain critical rocket and missile parts.

Serendipitously, Rhenium (symbol Re) happens to form a superconductive alloy with Molybdenum (symbol Mo)!

Some things are clearly meant to be.

I hated chemistry in high school, but this design using the periodic table on a T-shirt put a smile on my face. Perhaps if Remo had taught chemistry I would have paid more attention :-)

Went to the warehouse on Saturday 23rd December sale, we were able to get some last minute things. Remo made this and some other t-shirts for my daughter and nephews on the spot. Thanks for excellent service, an enjoyable shopping experience and a great range of products.

I had a long-sleeve version of this shirt in 1994 and i used to wear it on days that i wanted to feel "clever". I was always fascinated by the Periodic Table of Elements at school and marvelled at a chart that described all the basic building-blocks of all-the-things in the known universe. I could never pronounce Molybdenum (Mo) though.

My favourite REMO T Shirt .... and for a while there Tucker V owned the only one in existance. I was very jealous. Once I borrowed it to scan. Thought he might not remember to ask for it back ... but he did.

how come rating "great" is one step lower than "love it"? both are good discriptions of this very clever design!

And if you're into the periodic table of elements generally, check out this dynamic one online. I'm impressed – even though I have no need for it!
